Paul is fighting against cuts to our local NHS
Sheffield Liberal Democrats, Nick Clegg MP and Cllr Paul Scriven, have jointly launched a survey to find out the views of local residents on the state of the health service in the city. The survey is part of a national Liberal Democrat campaign that aims to stop cuts to the health service, reduce the amount of money being wasted in the NHS and to give a greater say to local people in how it is run. The NHS inquiry is a part of finding out the priorities of people in Sheffield.
Sheffield Hallam Member of Parliament, Nick Clegg MP said: "The NHS is important to all of us, and I regularly meet local patients, NHS staff and managers who are working hard to give us the best possible service. This survey will help me and my colleagues in parliament to campaign for a better deal for our area."
Sheffield Central Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesman, Cllr Paul Scriven said: "Despite huge amounts of money being poured in to the NHS, people are still concerned about the Labour Government forcing hospitals to make cuts. This survey is a part of our campaign to fight any cuts being made in Sheffield."
The survey is being delivered to thousands of homes across the city by volunteers, but people can also complete it online at www.nickclegg.org.uk or at www.paulscriven.org.uk
