At the 2008 local elections, the Lib Dems got more votes than Labour across Sheffield Central.

This election is too important for a wasted vote - and only the hard-working Lib Dem team can beat Labour here.

More and more Conservative and Green supporters plan to back Paul Scriven to kick Labour out this year.

squeeze_1 The Lib Dems took control of Sheffield City Council from Labour, and beat Labour across the new Central constituency with 37% to Labour's 36%.
squeeze_2 The Lib Dems won a crucial Council by-election in East Ecclesfield ward, with an increased majority of 819. In 2007 Labour had been just 74 votes behind.
squeeze_3 At the 2009 European elections, Labour's vote share in Sheffield dropped a massive 9% on 2004. The Liberal Democrat share increased.
squeeze_4 The Lib Dems' projected national vote soared to 28%, ahead of Labour on 23%. The Lib Dems now have more councillors than Labour in England.
